Transfer students have nine weeks into their first semester at Western Illinois University to elect to meet the requirements of a previous catalog. The previous catalog may not be more than three years prior to the current catalog and the student must have been in attendance at the community college or other four-year institution during that year.
All new incoming students are automatically assigned the current catalog. Check with your adviser to see if it is to your benefit to choose an earlier catalog. If it is, you will need to file the appropriate form with the Office of the Registrar.
Your community college may have already created a custom transfer guide for you. Check here to see if your community college has an approved transfer guide for your catalog year.
