2009 H1N1 flu virus infection (formerly known as swine flu) can cause a wide range of symptoms, including fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people may also have vomiting and diarrhea. People may be infected with the flu, including 2009 H1N1, and have respiratory symptoms without a fever.

Individuals with flu-like symptoms are encouraged to take care of themselves at home. The Health Center needs to be able to take see those students who are seriously ill. However individuals should seek immediate medical attention if they have any of the following symptoms.

Beu will continue to take calls and provide instructions on self care, however appointments may be limited to seriously ill students during times of high demand.
