To find a different self-help document, click here
To set the default printer, go open the Printers and Faxes Window (see below).
The printer with the black check mark is your current default printer. This could be a network or local printer.
Setting the default printer
Right mouse click on the printer you want to have as the new default printer and select Set as Default Printer from the menu.
