Use the Undo tool in Word 2007

1. If you do something that messes the entire document up and you aren't sure what you did, you can select the undo button and correct the last thing you did. Sometimes Word will allow you to go back a couple steps depending on what you did. Click the undo button that is near the upper left hand corner of the screen.
   
   
   
   
2. Once you click the icon, it will undo what you last did. If that still doesn't fix the problem, click it again and see if that helps.
   
   *** Keep in mind, the best fix for problems like this is to frequently save your document so that you can go back.
