Since we setup computers with images, we have to make certain things generic. If you would like your name to appear as the author on documents you created, click the new Office icon in the top left hand corner of the window and then click the Word Options button towards the bottom of the new window.
Towards the bottom of the new window, there is a section titled Personalize Your Copy Of Microsoft Office. Change the username from Student Services to your name.
Click OK and the window will disappear and now your name will appear in the author section of the documents you create.
