Illinois Veteran Grant (IVG)

Q. What are the requirements?

Q. How to Apply?
A. Print the application form at College Zone, complete and mail application and required documentation to ISAC, and submit a copy of your Notice of Eligibility Letter to WIU's Financial Aid Office.

Q. What does the award pay for?
A. The award pays for tuition and all mandatory fees.

Q. How and when are funds paid?
A. Once you submit a copy of your Notice of Eligibility Letter to WIU’s Financial Aid Office, the IVG will credit your University bill for tuition and applicable fees. NOTE: IVG Notice of Eligibility Letter must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by the last day of the semester.

As long as you are continuously enrolled each academic year, the IVG will credit your bill automatically. If not continuously enrolled, notify WIU’s Financial Aid Office to re-activate the award.
