WIU Satisfactory Progress Requirements

Federal & Illinois regulations require at least annual review of academic progress. The following requirements apply to both undergraduate and graduate students at WIU:

You must complete at least 67% of WIU hours attempted in prior academic year

OR
You must meet the terms of your Satisfactory Progress reinstatement based on appeal.

AND

Your total hours attempted cannot exceed 150% of hours required for graduation.

AND

Your GPA must meet WIU standards for continued enrollment.
