The First Tee program is divided into four skill groups: Par, Birdie, Eagle and Advanced Eagle. Students will meet twice a week for 8 weeks on Monday and Thursday mornings from 9a.m. - 11a.m. to receive golf instruction, learn life skills, and participate in golf programs.
The 6 week program is available at a cost of $40 for one child or $60 for two children.
First Tee will be held from June 9 - July 17.
A limited number of golf club sets are available at the golf course at no charge for participants. Please note on the registration form if the student will need golf clubs.
Individual responsibility, honesty, integrity, and confidence are all among the traits that can help a young person on the road to success. Golf not only teaches positive life lessons, but it depends on them for its very existence. It is a game in which there are no officials to call a breach of the rules. It is a game where only the individual participants know if the score they handed in is actually the score they shot. It is also a game where the raw beginner can play a competitive match with the most seasoned expert. It is a game where lifelong friendships can be made.
