Route 8 - Pink

Square/Hospital/Schools Route

Route 8 - Pink serves the southeastern part of Macomb. The main stops on the route include the west side of the square, Macomb High School, McDonough District Hospital, Jefferson House, and The Mental Health Building. When the Macomb School district is in session, Between 2:30 and 3:12pm, the route detours to the to YMCA daycare, and then to the YMCA, and at 3:15pm an extra run begins at the High School and ends at the Transfer center. Route 8 runs every 30 minutes from 7:00am to 6:00pm and starts and finishes at the High School, meeting with the other city routes at the transfer center on 15 and 45 minutes past the hour. Route 8 also has service on Saturday from Noon to 5:30pm, alternating runs with Purple 9.
