Campus Routes

These bus routes serve areas of the Western Illinois University campus, though stops are not limited to campus locations.

Route 1 - Red (Campus Circulator Route)
Route 1 - Red travels the circumference of campus in a clockwise direction and serves all major buildings on campus. Route 1 starts at 7:00am and ceases operation at midnight Monday through Thursday. On Friday, service stops at 10:00pm. On weekends, Route 1 runs from 7:00pm to 12:00am.
Route 2 - Green (Campus Circulator Route)
Route 2 - Green serves the northwest quadrant of Macomb, generally serving the same route as Route 1, but in a counterclockwise direction. In addition, Route 2 serves West Calhoun St., North Johnson St., and West Murray St. Route 2 runs 7:00am through 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
Route 3 - Blue (Lamoine Village Route)
Route 3 - Blue serves the west side of campus, specifically those residents in Lamoine Village. Route 3 runs from 7:00am to 10:00pm Monday through Friday.
Route 4 - Orange (Late Nite Route)
Route 4 - Orange serves the downtown area late at night Thursday through Saturday. The route is similar to Route 1 on campus, and runs about every 10 minutes. The route runs until 2:00am on Thursday, and 3:00am on Friday and Saturday.
Route 5 - Brown (Business Route)
Route 5 - Brown is the business route. It serves all major businesses on east Jackson St. and the square. The route is similar to Route 1 on campus, and runs 5:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Friday and 1:00 to 6:00pm Weekends and Breaks.
Route 6 - White (University/Spoon River Route)
Route 6 - White serves the northwest quadrant of town including Lamoine Village and the businesses on west Jackson St. This route runs on a 30-minute frequency from 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. This route starts and ends at the transfer center. Route 6 also has service on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00pm, but alternates service during that time
Route 9 - Purple (Bridgeway/Eisenhower Tower Route)
Route 9 - Purple serves the southwestern part of Macomb. The main stops are Spoon River College, Eisenhower Tower, West Jackson St., the DMV (upon request), Bridgeway, and West Grant Street. Route 9 runs 7 scheduled times from 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Route 9 begins and ends at the transfer center. Route 9 also has service on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00pm, but alternates service during that time.
Route 10 - Black (Amtrak Route)
Route 10 - Black runs on Friday night in order to get people to the Amtrak train station. It also runs Sunday night in order to get people home from the train station. It runs around the perimeter of campus and makes 2 circuits Friday night between 5:30pm and 6:15pm and one circuit on Sunday nights between 9:00pm and 9:40pm (or whenever the train gets in).
# Route 11 - Silver (Off-Campus Housing Route)
Route 11 - Silver serves the West Jackson Street/West Adams Street student housing area. This includes Aspen Court, both Turnberry Villages and Triad Apartments. It runs 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and continues with night service on Route 3 Monday - Thursday.
