Student Organizations Center
In the fall of 1999 Western Illinois University opened space designed specifically for the Student Government Association and other student organizations, the Student Organization Center (SOC). Twenty organizations have offices in the SOC. All registered student organizations are assigned a mailbox, have use of a conference room and a bank of computers. This space is a common area for all registered organizations to meet, plan, and encourage co-sponsorship and campus involvement.
