Westec

Western Technical Services (WESTEC) is a WIU student-run sound, light, and projection service. WESTEC operates the largest production service in West Central Illinois. WESTEC has been involved with a variety of performances including dance, theater, music recitalists, jazz artists, and contemporary entertainers. Shows have included Survivor, Eddie Money, Cheap Trick, Willie Nelson, Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, Bob Hope, Tony Bennett, Chuck Berry, CATS, Richard Lewis, and many more.

For organizations that need our services, we require a 2-week advance notice prior to the event. Please stop by the Office of Student Activities to pick up the form.
