WIU - Division of Student Services
The Division of Student Services is committed to providing services that are accessible. We currently use www.cast.org's product Bobby to evaluate our WEB sites and make sure that they are disability accessible.

All standard WEB pages published in the Division will meet Bobby level 1 access as a minimum.

All on-line systems developed will meet U.S. Section 508 Guidelines as a minimum.
|
|
We test all pages using the Cast.org's BOBBY Customization Options.
|
Bobby leve 1(A) meets and exceeds the Illinois Web Accessibility Standards (IWAS) signed on February 14, 2002. If you find a page that does not pass level 1 Bobby approval please contact me and we will get the problem resolved.

Concerned about Security? So are we.
We are committed to providing reliable and secure Internet services. Our primary servers are secured using SSL sever certificates. We use this encryption feature whenever sensitive data is being transferred.
To ensure system security and reliability we:
- Don't retain credit card information after credit card sales have been processed.
- Require SSL connections when sensitive data is being transferred.
- Monitor WEB traffic using 2 different types of security agents.
- Follow our Privacy Statement.
In addition, all systems are reviewed and tested by the WIU - Internal Auditors Office prior to deployment.
