Toward a More Civil Society: Participating in Service Activities
Volunteer Services at WIU and the student organization WAVE (Western's All Volunteer Effort) will be discussed. Other campus service groups and agencies in town that utilize student volunteers will be explored. Suggestions on why to volunteer and how to find volunteer opportunities both on campus and in the Macomb community will be offered. Sponsored by Office of Student Activities. (ref #0SA3)

Examine the impact of women on our culture, lessons learned, and to be learned. Participants will be challenged to look at leadership styles, icons vs. role models, and what's next.
