First time student employees must complete an I-9 form when hired. The I-9 form requires students to bring with them original employment documents. Most students use either an original unexpired U.S. Passport OR a WIU School I.D. Card AND an original Social Security Card. There is a complete list of all acceptable documents on the last page of the I-9 form.

    Duties: RESNET TECHNICIANS ASSIST WITH NETWORK CONNECTION PROBLEMS AND THE REMOVAL OF COMPUTER VIRUSES AND SPYWARE.  THE TECHNICIAN SCHEDULES APPOINTMENTS WITH CUSTOMERS TO PERFORM THE NECESSARY TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES. THEY ALSO ASSIST WITH SOME TASKS AS PART OF ON GOING PROJECTS.

    Duties: DELIVER RESUME VIA EMAIL TO: HMUNRO@CAIT.ORG. DUTIES WILL BE TO ANSWER USER SUPPORT CALLS AND E-MAILS. LOG AND TRACK ALL USER CONTACT REGARDING SPECIFIC PROJECTS AND ASSIST IN HANDLING ROUTINE HELP REQUESTS. ASSIST HELP DESK PERSONNEL IN THE CREATION OF PROJECT DOCUMENTATION. PERFORM QUALITY ASSURANCE AND PROJECT TESTING AS NEEDED.
    Qualifications: MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS (BOTH WRITTEN AND VERBAL), AND POSSESS STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS TO EFFECTIVELY HELP PEOPLE VIA THE PHONE OR EMAIL. MUST BE HARD WORKING, FOCUSED AND GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL. EXPERIENCE WITH THE INTERNET, BROWSERS, PLUG-INS, AND BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS IS REQUIRED. PROFICIENCY IN MAC AND PC IS PREFERRED.
