Outreach Presentations and Workshops
The University Counseling Center offers outreach presentations and workshops throughout the year to WIU students in a variety of settings (e.g. fraternities, sororities, in classrooms, and residence halls) as well as to members in the Macomb community. We offer topics in such general areas as:
- Anxiety Reduction
- Career Exploration
- Personal Growth
- Relationships
- Communications
- Social Skills and many more

Study Skills Assistance
The University Counseling Center offers study skills assistance which encompasses:
- Individualized sessions for assistance with: test taking, preparing for
finals, textbook comprehension, note-taking, test anxiety, time management,
and more.
- Study Skills Seminars are offered weekly throughout the year, and cover topics such as test taking, preparing for finals, textbook comprehension, note-taking, test anxiety, time management, and more.
