Amenitites
- Smoke-Free Environment – All of our halls are smoke-free. Smoking is prohibited in all areas inside the residence halls.
- Air Conditioning and Heating – All of the residence halls are air conditioned and heated. The process of switching from air to heat or from heat to air,
is guided by long range weather forecasts, day and evening temperatures, and scheduling of maintenance.

Cable Television – Each of our rooms has access to cable television. The channels are determined by our on-campus students governing board
(Inter-Hall Council). The current channels offered are listed in the Channel Guide. Students must supply their own coaxial cable to connect their TVs to the cable
outlet.
- Laundry – Each hall has a laundry room located in a central location. The laundry rooms are equipped with 10 washers and 10 dryers.
The units are connected to our ID card system and students can use their Flex Points to do their laundry thus eliminating the need to carry quarters.
Each load of wash is $0.75 and each load to dry is $0.50. NOTE: Corbin and Olson Hall laundry facilities are located on each floor and are not yet wired for our ID system.
- Information Desk – Each hall is staffed with a 24-hour information desk. Some of the services offered through the information desk include:
- Mail services
- Key Requests
- Maintenance Request Services
- Rental or loan of sports equipment
- Kitchen and cooking items
- Lost and Found
- Board Games
- Phone numbers
- Telephone – Each student room has phone access. Students are responsible for providing their own phones. The local phone access cost is included in room and board fees.
Optional long distance services are provided through the Telecommunication Office and each student will receive an access code to use long distance accounts.
The cost for long distance services is $0.10 per minute anytime.

Computer Connections – Each room has one ethernet data jack by which students can connect computers to the Internet. Students will need ethernet cards for their
computers in order to properly connect. If students intend to use two computers in a room they will need to purchase a hub. Questions about computers can be answered by
the computer help desk at 298-2704. NOTE: Olson Hall has wireless internet access.
- Room Furnishings – Each room has the following furnishings. Quantity depends on type (single or double):
- Desk
- Desk Chair
- Dresser
- Closets
- Book Shelf
- Bed Frame
- Mattress
- Mattress Pad
- Lounge Chair (Tanner, Lincoln, Washington, Corbin Suites only)
- Vending Machines – Each hall has vending machines that are connected to the ID card system and students may purchase items from the machines using flex points.
- Bicycle Rack – Each hall has a location near the building where bicycles can be stored and locked up. All bikes must be registered with Parking Services in Mowbray Hall and must be removed at the end of the semester.
