Experience Western is a recruitment tool sponsored by University
Housing and Dining Services targeting students who have been accepted to Western
but have not yet decided to attend WIU. It is a unique opportunity for 50
students to give them a personal, in-depth look at WIU. Invitations are sent
to approximately 200 students. The first 50 to respond will:
Be hosted by a WIU student
Stay overnight in our residence halls
Go to classes with the host student
Attend social and cultural events on campus
Meet with students, faculty and staff in an informal setting
All students need to do is provide transportation to WIU, and we
take care of the rest.
This program typically happens in mid November. To inquire about the program
