Bayliss Hall is home to nearly 400 residents in a co-ed environment, and is located next to its brother hall, Henninger.
Bayliss houses predominantly first-year students and is connected to the North Quad Dining Center that was renovated in 2001. Named after the second president of WIU, Bayliss Hall is known for establishing very strong floor and hall communities that demonstrate high involvement in activities such as hall government and Homecoming week events.
Bayliss & Henninger are also known for their strong campus programming. Mud Volleyball is planned by the students living in Bay/Henn. This large 120 team event raises money for the local Fire Department Training Facility. Also, the hall recently won an award for Diversity week where the students highlighted diversity issues on campus and in society. Other programs include Safe Trick or Treating for local children.
