Description
Tanner Hall is an upper-division co-educational living environment. Tanner Hall is composed of all single rooms. Each floor has its own personality, and the residents really identify with their floor. Floor t-shirts are a very common symbol that residents use to show floor pride. On most floors, residents hang up and maintain the flyers, and encourage others to respect the environment. The residents of Tanner really care about their living environment, and they love living here!

Tanner has three main programs that take place during the year. The first is a large scale community service project. This year it took place prior to Thanksgiving break. The residents and RA staff of Tanner Hall prepared and served a Thanksgiving meal to those less fortunate in the community at the Salvation Army. The second program takes place at the Elms Nursing Home. It is generally a dance in which the RA staff and residents of Tanner Hall dress up and perform ballroom or other dances for the patients at the nursing home. Additionally, pictures are taken of the participants with the patients and they (the patients) are given the pictures as a memento of the event. Last but certainly not least is S.A.D. Week or Students Appreciating Diversity. S.A.D. week is a week long series of events and programs that center around the theme of helping students appreciate one another's diversity.
