Topflight Team Nomination Form

The Student Services Topflight Team Award is designed to recognize a department, office, or team within the Student Services Division whose activities or accomplishments merit attention and emulation. Two awards will be bestowed each year, one for each semester. The selected group will also receive $150 towards their team's celebration. The department, office, or team selected by the Student Services Awards Committee will have its name permanently inscribed on the traveling Topflight Team trophy and display the trophy for one semester. Each staff member in the department, office, or team will be recognized at the Student Services Annual Recognition Reception. The deadline for Fall nominations is November 15; Spring nominations is April 15.

Criteria :

  1. The department/office/team must be within the Division of Student Services.
  2. The department/office/team must display extraordinary contributions to the Division and the University by displaying such acts as the following:
    • Activities that promote team spirit within the department/office
    • Activities that promote excellence in Student Services
    • Activities that promote excellence for Western Illinois University
    • Innovations that have a positive impact on student well-being
    • Innovations that have a positive impact on student recruitment and retention
    • Team effort with other areas in coordinating/improving services to students, faculty and staff
  3. The department/office/team must not have received the Topflight Team Award the previous year.

Letters of Support :

Nominators for this award can solicit letters of support for the nominated department or office or team. After submission of this online form, submit letters of support to:
