The Women's Center's Mission is to promote gender equity through education, support and advocacy and to respond to issues affecting the status of female students, faculty and staff on campus, as well as women in the community and in society.
Multicultural Center Groundbreaking Ceremony
Women's Center staff and volunteers, including one of the WC’s founding mothers, Janice Welsch, with Associate Vice President for Student Services Earl Bracey and Vice President for Student Services Garry Johnson at the groundbreaking ceremony. Construction on the "green" building began in October 2007 and is tentatively scheduled to be completed in February 2009.
