FAA is a student group created out of a need to increase awareness of women's issues on the campus and in the community through education and action. The Feminist Action Alliance actively participates in Women's History Month, the annual Clothesline Project, and Take Back the Night. Meetings are Tuesdays at 4:30 pm.

The League of Women Voters of McDonough County is a nonpartisan organization that promotes political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government, influences public policy through education and advocacy, and acts on selected governmental issues. Membership is open to anyone who subscribes to the purpose of the organization. The Annual Membership fee is $40 for an individual or $60 for a Household Membership. Regular meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday, monthly, at 7 p.m.

BPW advocates professional and personal growth, leadership development and participation, equity, and economic self-sufficiency for working women. BPW provides educational and networking opportunities. Membership is open to any woman who is gainfully employed and pays annual dues.

Western Organization for Women

WOW was established in 1971 out of concern for women's opportunities for advancement on campus. The purpose of WOW is to provide for continuing interaction among members to consider and act on common interests and issues relating to women.

The Women's Center was established in 1986 to address the unique needs of the Women of Western Illinois University and the Macomb area. The Center has a study/meeting area, an audio/video/print resource library, and resource files on numerous Women's issues. Additionally, the Center promotes an inclusive campus environment through sponsoring events such as Take Back the Night, Women's History Month, the Women's Issues and Leadership Conference, Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and the Clothesline Project. The Women's Center also provides meeting space for the Feminist Action Alliance, Feminist Reading Group, BGLFA's Transitions group, and victim counseling.
