Housing Application

To complete a Residence Hall Contract and Application form, you must be a newly accepted Western Illinois University student. Upon acceptance, students will receive an acceptance packet from the Office of Admissions. Once you have received your acceptance packet, you can complete the on-line housing application if you are paying with a credit/debit card.

Please note that all students with fewer than 60 credit hours are required to live on campus. For those not required, you should only submit an application to live in a residence hall if you are 100% certain that is where you want to live. Once you submit the application, it becomes binding after March 1 for fall semester contracts and immediately for spring semester contracts. If you do cancel after the stated deadlines, you will be subject to a contract breakage fee equal to the double room rate (approximately $3300).
